Broker Information

Industry & broker strength

Financial strength, regulatory record, workforce and client mix — from member factsheets

Aggregated from the half-yearly factsheets members file with the exchanges (NSE + BSE). Focused on actual retail brokers — banks, clearing members and proprietary / HFT desks are trading members too, but their factsheet carries the whole institution's net worth and headcount (not a retail-broker figure) with little or no retail client book, so they are kept out of the broker totals (net worth and workforce each have a separate Banks & institutions tab covering them). Company-wide figures (net worth, employees) are counted once per broker; equity-vs-derivatives mix is NSE-only; figures are never summed across venues.
